Interesting Week off!

Well hello everyone!

As you all know I am not playing in the Tulsa event this week because I felt like my body needed a week off to recover from the last couple of weeks! On Monday I was in Washington D.C. doing a clinic for one of my sponsors so after the red eye flight from Morelia it was a long day on Monday afternoon. I got through it and got a good nights sleep that night. I flew back to North Carolina where my car was on Tuesday morning. I also came here to have a relaxing week off. I went to pick my car up where I left it and got bit by an 100 pound dog, a Weimereiner to be exact. Thank god he didn’t bite me on the hand. He bit me on the back of my leg and broke skin through my jeans. My leg looks awful and is all black and blue and has a cut. Not something that was planned in my week off itinerary! I went to the doctor yesterday and since I haven’t had a tetnis shot in 12 years I had to get one of those. He put me on some medication in case of infection. My arm hurts so bad from the shot that I can barely lift it and my leg is throbbing from the bite. I took pictures to show my mom since she is so worried. I told her I am fine but just in a little bit of pain! Just an update for you guys!

I am leaving Chapel Hill on Monday morning to drive to Kingsmill for the next tournament. It is about a 3 and a half hour drive so it isn’t too bad. I can’t wait to come home next week. I am driving home right after the event is over on Sunday afternoon the 13th. I am so excited to get home and sleep in my own bed!

Hope all is well with everyone! Will check in next week!

    Meaghan,

It sounds like a great way to spend a week off! We can’t tell Ally about your adventure. If she finds out she won’t go near her stuffed animals! As far as sleeping in your own bed upon your return, you may have to share it with Finley and Vokey.
I am looking forward to going down to Williamsburg this week with the crew to form your gallery known as Francella’s Fanatics.Hopefully you will have a much larger one at Sybase next week!

    Hi Meaghan,

I asked whether the dog bite had broken your skin and they said no. Sorry to hear first about the bite and secondly about the shot hurting. I hope all is well now. We are all looking forward to seeing you next week and as your Uncle Chucky says some of your gallery will be there for you in Kings Mill. Aunt Duckie and Bill will also meet up with your uncles and Joe for the weekend. I do wish you the best rounds of your career, although another couple of sixty-sixes won’t come amiss. See you soon.
